La vie en rose
Is what dreamers see the world as.
But is it so bad to put on rose-colored glasses
Once in a very blue moon?
I say,
See the world as a technicolour dreamcoat first and foremost,
Then pick at the colour scabs all you want like formicators do,
But at the end of the blue day,
See it still as la vie en rose,
Because the fact is,
You were there.
