I have almost forgotten how much fun it was to hangout with the gang ever since i went to Melb.
and just that day, they reminded me again how much i miss and love them...

*insert mushy music here*

i had a blast as usual and it ole good clean fun...LOL

i met david and nee and john for lunch at Kimgary's at CS and after annoying the "androgynous" waiter with our orders, we yaklked it up and then took a lot of pics... and i took the ooprtunity to grill xin nee about her "boy boy" and then the guys (surprisingly!!) make a case for feminism and guys buying undies for their girlfriends. you have to be there to appreciate the debate... *smirks*

then we met up with aichen, juli and yiyu adn again, had an extra loud gab session. it was hilarious seeing how ai chen and juli evaded john's prying handphone-cum-video recorder for the day...aww, girls give him just one smile for the camera mah...

anyways, after having yoghurt (it was super yums!! and my fave stall) and glueing our butts to teh chairs for one hour and just gossiping up a storm, we adjourned to this Korean restaurant by Stulang Laut (somehow, we always managed to end up in a Korean restaurant for meals every time we go out. I think it's due to ju li and treacia's manic korean craze...) and the place was niiiiice......

CSI MANIA!!

have been watching tons of DVDs these few days and it was really rewarding after months of starving myself from movies in Melb (a freaking student price movie ticket is like a whole $10 which si like RM 30!! grrrr and not to mention the TV in Albert House is not exactly on good terms with me...always giving me the static signal...darn annoying lah!!)

so watching CSI: NY season 2 and 3 was SUCH a treat for me!! i was liek jumping up and down on the sofa, waiting for the DVD player to whirl to life!! i know kinda pathetic seeing as CSI is a movie about dead people and their untimely gruesome demise..not to mention the episodes of grred and jealousy and all the negative human elements come into dramatic play...

but the CSIs in the series are really cool people man... makes you wanna join the ranks of those investgators...how they strut around in perfectly-cut linen suits (for the ladies) and cool black outfits (for the men) in this really cool cavern of a CSI lab, how they can stare unflinchingly at a possible suspect and make them spill their guts, how they use their talents and brains to figure out the crime and delve into a murderer's mind... swooons....

and not to mention, the cool scenes where the camera goes in depth into a wound and lets you see the broken arteries or fractures... and the reconstruction of a crime is always awesome....

oh and i think gary sinise is by far the best head honcho in the CSI franchise EVER!! and i'm rooting for lindsay and danny to get together!! and i do not like the new coroner, that posh (but in my opinion, she's just stuck up) british lady...

CSI: NY is soooo much better with the addition of anna belknap as lindsay monroe nowadays!!

2007

drumroll... and 2007 is here!!

and here comes the obligatory resolutions that comes with a new year....

i will enjoy my first year in MBBS, to learn as best as i can so i will be on the right path to becoming a capable doctor so that in years to come i can finally go to Africa as i have dreamt of for so long and put my skills to good use....

i will respect myself more and be less self destructive...(no, i'm not in a gang, nor do i take drugs....) but be able to say no when i feel like it, taking care of my own self emotional well being, be less straddled by mundane things or people.....

i will take care of myself... coz no one can do that for me, only i can do it....

and so c'est la vie....
