heat enthalpy of formation = heat of formation (products) - heat of formation (reactants)
electronegativity= the ability of an atom in a colecule to attract an electron to itself
electron affinity= energy involved in adding an electro to an atom in the gaseous state
polar bond= uneven sharing of electron pairs
